Society of Manufacturing Engineers recognizes ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï
July 3, 2024For a third straight year, ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) has been awarded Silver status. SME is an association of professionals, educators and students committed to promoting and supporting the manufacturing industry.
To attain this status, university chapters must show acumen in professional development, communications, advancement of manufacturing and merit. ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s chapter earned a stipend from SME to continue progressing in these areas.
In addition to SME, of national professional organizations like the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Membership within a professional organizations gives students a wide array of networking opportunities that will help them develop skills and enrich their careers.
