ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s Donald Ross Golf Club is open for the season

On April 11, the front nine of ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s Donald Ross Golf Club opened for public play.

In October 2017, the university announced its intent to purchase the Fort Wayne, Indiana, golf course and develop the back nine into a new collegiate athletic complex. The purchase was finalized earlier this year and development of the athletic complex will begin early in May.

Donald Ross Golf Club is located at 7102 South Calhoun St. in Fort Wayne. From the longest tees, Donald Ross spans 3,472 yards for a par of 36, a course rating of 72.5 and a slope of 126. Book a tee time online at or by phone at 260.745.7093

Donald Ross Golf Course was built in 1927 and formerly known as Fairview Golf Club. The front nine was designed by the Scottish-born Ross, who is known for laying the foundation for the American golf industry. Ross spent most of his adult life in the United States. At his death in 1948, he left behind a legacy of 413 courses, including such gems as Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina, Seminole in Florida and the site of the 1996 U.S. Open, Oakland Hills, outside Detroit. Over 100 U.S. national championships have been played on courses designed by Ross.
